Our dojo was established during the late Edo period, a samurai of the Choshu domain, and for over 160 years, it has been cherished by many as a place to practice the traditional art of archery with the Japanese longbow. As a dojo, it has been a space where countless individuals have honed their archery skills and cultivated both body and mind.
We invite our international visitors to experience this deep tradition in a place filled with the spirit of those who have come before, offering you a unique opportunity to connect with the mindset of the samurai era through the art of archery.
WORK BRIDGE
WORK BRIDGE connects international visitors with authentic Japanese cultural experiences through partnerships with long-established local businesses (shinise) and university student guides. Trained students provide interpretation and cultural context during hands-on experiences—such as traditional crafts, martial arts, and tea ceremonies—offered directly by artisans and masters. The aim is to preserve cultural heritage, support local businesses, and provide meaningful, affordable experiences for travelers seeking genuine cultural connection.
